My home was burglarized on 3/17/2015, and my grandfather's 1928 Hamilton pocket watch was stolen. Now I am in the process of trying to find it out in the wild. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of it; however, when I was given the watch the box included a great deal of information regarding identification numbers:
Brand: Hamilton Watch Co.
Movement Model No: 902
Movement Serial #: 3050487
Case No.: 154009
Year: 1928
Price: $140 (in 1928)
#247 (not sure what this text means)
If anybody on the forum knows a way to identify the pocket watch model based on the Case No., your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
