Hey, I bought one of those stethoscope things to listen to the "heartbeat" of clock movements. In the shop, between the AC running and the tick-tock of all the other clocks, it's nearly impossible to hear a movement in the test stand. I didn't really expect much of it, but I was surprised!

I'm going to get a Time Trax soon, too. I just couldn't resist trying out a 'scope. I really was surprised how loud the thing was when I touched it to the movement.
