• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

It looks like it's a 12s 1894 model in grade 225. My book shows it as a 7 jewel, your image looks like it may have jewels at the escape-wheel, raising the count to 9J.

And it appears that the staff would depend on whether or not it has a friction fit or riveted staff. If old-style riveted, you need an 8142. If it's friction-fit, it looks like an 8143.

BTW, you can look this information up on the pocketwatchdatabase.com website, where they have a serial number look-up for grade establishment, and various Waltham parts books that should give you the part number for the grade, etc. That way you can get the information closer to as you need it. Cheers.
