    zzip,
Stuff like that usually has to be made up or adapted from something close to what you need. A photo might get you a better response. I'm assuming you have a small 400 day clock there? Willie X

I didn't know they even had a spring, or why it would even be needed. But a ball point pen spring comes to mind when looking at the pic's.

I think I'll move this to the 400 day forum for more input.

I'd look for a spring from an old automotive seal and trim it down to the proper length.
Go to a place that does brakes and they can probably get you a selection of old seals to look through for an appropriate OD and rate.
Engine rebuilders or transmission shops would also be a good choice.
Or, you could try to find a new spring from someone like:
Stock Extension Springs (Small / Short) Manufacturer | Century Spring
If you download their PD catalog, it's easy to search (Better than their site).

It doesn't look much different condition wise than the one in my pendulum.

Sure it was a pain to get in there but it works just fine. It's not a very heavy spring and it seemed very short when it was out.

From memory, Ace Hardware stores had a very wide array of springs.
