Hi all, I'm working on 2 Bulova watches at the moment. One is a 8AD, the other a 8AH.
The Bulova 8AD is a ETA 1220 movement where as the Bulova 8AH is a ETA 1000 movement. To me they look identical, so where's the difference? The stem, balance staff, mainspring have identical part numbers. Same number of jewles, same f = 18000 A/h, same power reserve 43h. Even the dimensions are the same.

I've tried looking up the ETA spec sheets and data base' but so far not much has come to light.

    Cheers

According to Ranfft, the difference is in the keyless works (setting mechanism)
