A week ago I had brunch and was served my ice cream dessert with a soup spoon, the young lady serving me sent me this email after I sent her an email denoting my displeasure in being served my dessert with a soup spoon.

Today, I had my usual salmon (omega 3) brunch I get each Friday and see the young lady with whom I had sent the previous email. She thought my email rather amusing.

    Both are attached here.

    Hi Danny,
I am giggling out loud as I read your email. Funny thing is that I know I served your ice team with a soup spoon only because there were no regular spoons at that moment. I was too lazy to walk any further.
My apologies. However, I do find it quite amusing because I did expect you to call me on it and when you didn't I thought, wow, he didn't notice. Hahaha.
How dare I try to get one over on my dear friend of 100 years old. I never cease to surprise me Danny.
    Love,
    Your 46 year old friend,
    Dianne

Today you were a little more befuddled than usual. It could be the nasty weather that invaded your brain cells.

However, understanding that, being befuddled is no great crime; even I at times, become befuddled, however, at my age...it is not unusual to be mixed up when doing things.

May I teach you one thing in serving the people their ordered desserts?...Never serve ice cream with a soup spoon as you did today with my ice cream order. A teaspoon would be proper.

No matter...do not ride your bike in nasty weather...it could be befuddling.

    You are still loved!

The 100 year old man Daniel

That is funny, sir! Isn't it glorious to have someone you can tease with who won't get in a snit? Sounds like it's a good eatery!

It's great to see good humoured relations at work. I have a feeling there aren't too many places like that nowadays.:)

I eat my peas with honey,
I've done it all my life.
    It may seem kinda funny,
But it keeps them on my knife!

We quite like to complain about American imports over here, or perhaps it is just me, but the soup spoon was one of the more acceptable ones I think.

Hmmmm. I wonder, Dan, what you would think of the wooden spoons we used to get with our ice cream? I'm sure you remember those! :)
