as far as what causes a schatz 53 to be set in the 'parts' bin in the order
I have found... failed suspension spring followed by either a bent center arbor or two teeth stripped off the
    wheel you hunt.

    .... I have un-bent a center arbor....

I have seen at least one person's video for replacing teeth.

best bet is buy a low priced thing off the bay.

I can't find homes for the clocks I have repaired.

What's the diameter of the wheel? Number of teeth on the wheel and number of leaves on the pinion? What's the length from the end of the pivots? How "tall" are the pinion leaves...how long are they?

    Hi Victor,

Yes seems that one of the teeth on the first wheel is chipped away causing the clock to stop every 12 hrs.

    Regards,
    Ashley
