Silver pocket watch ID please!

Hi,
My local postman brought this watch in to get some information and an appraisal on it. But I was unable to tell him the maker. I did not see the movement, on the other hand. Can you tell me anything about it offhand, please? The case is hallmarked silver and bears the serial number 949379, I believe. So, if possible, I would like to know the maker, origin and the date of the watch. Thanks for your help!

About all that can be ascertained from these pictures is that this watch was imported into Great Britain by George Stockwell, an incredibly prolific importer of Swiss watches. The date letter appears to be for 1908/09 and that matches well with the styling of the watch.

If you could get an image of the movement, we might be able to offer more information regarding the maker and the mechanical details.
