• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

I've been planning to collect & compile information on all Known Newark Watch Co watches for quite awhile - So here it goes - I'll be sharing my info on over 110 I have information about - in groups as time permits!
PLEASE SHARE YOUR'S !!
I hope once we have a lot of info collected I can compile & shared with all interested. Please share How the dial is marked - Movement markings including names & etc - IF marked Patented & more -
I'm lumping Arthur Wadsworth Keyless watch Co watches into this list also.( I'll update some of the details as I don't have most of these in easy access now.
Please tell others who may have Newarks to share there info. so we can make some assumptions from the data once collected. As I shared before from my information it shows that more than 1/2 of all Newark watches were Private labeled - also that private labeled watches had dials & movement marked similar ( Not Newark dials )

Newark Stemwinders named Wadsworth.

I'm know this isn't breaking news or anything, but it's always good to save original information like this.

Edit: it's located in the top right of the page under the highlighted Elgin information. The whole article is a good read about various watch companies.

Bob, I see you got numbers from the John Fossette collection that was sold in 2015 but either you or Jones&Horan have a slight error. You recorded #6105 “Julius Walker” private label and the auction catalog shows that watch as #6705. I’m pretty sure it is the same watch.-Cort
