Hi, this is my first post.

I just bought a Schatz Royal Mariner clock on eBay that has no key. I want to buy a key before the clock arrives. It's been reported that some of these clocks have a 4mm shaft, and some have a 3mm shaft. Does anyone know the correct shaft size, perhaps?

Two photos of the face plate are attached. To me, it looks similar to the Schatz 1980 Royal Mariner, except it has Arabic numbers rather than Roman numerals.

Thanks in advance for imparting your knowledge. Your help is appreciated.

I cannot properly advise you on the key (is that what you mean by “shaft”?) The best best is to take it in to a clock shop and they should be super happy to help you with key sizing.
