Well, "Yes". Yes we do have some suggestions, CC. But first, "WELCOME!" Welcome, "CC" to a grate groupa guise an' galz who love clocks, people who love clocks, and the questions they bring. See, the way it works "CC" is we don't know much about clocks. We rely on you to bring us questions that we have also. We make suggestions - you try 'em and if they work then we try them. But seriously "CC" ( not my forte ), first "LEFT" is "left" as you face the clock. Your clock is probably "out of beat". That is, that's it is not ticking evenly and rhythmic. Perhaps in moving it that happened. Many tick very quietly so you may have to stick yer head inside the waist (of the clock) and listen carefully. Is the ticking even and regular - not da-dick, da-dick or di-dock, di-dock, etc. It should be a smooth, even, tick - tick - tick, etc. If it's not, have an assistant tilt one side or the other until it is even and regular. If it doesn't require much of a tilt perhaps you could shim it or such at the floor to stay that way. If it needs a LOTT of tilting then we'll need to give you further suggestions on how to correct that. Now you are sure that the pendulum is properly attached - fully engaged to that protruding arm? Try that "CC" and perhaps others will bring suggestions soon. WELCOME CC. You've had you're first immersion so you are officially baptized into clockdom. Hallelujah!

CCY, May I suggest to you that it might be time to have your clock serviced and set up by a professional? Your family heirloom requires regular maintenance, much like the family car. Harold
