    Hello Lloyd,
Looks like you may have an "Essex" from circa 1921. If so, your clock should measure 9 1/2 inches in height. It came in plain mahogany and inlaid mahogany. It's on page 487 of Tran Duy Ly's Seth Thomas book. The 48R was also used in the Wales, Parma, Modena and Touraine cases. The Essex is not named as one of the clocks, but obviously it was. Time mainspring 7' x 3/4" x 0.013" Strike mainspring 5' x 3/4" x 0.016". Here's a catalog page with the inlaid case illustrated: Clock & Watch Catalog Page: 1909 - 1910 Seth Thomas Clock Company Catalog No. 675 > 10
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Bruce

English Cabinet cases "Round Fine Movement" is all the catalog states. Seems like one of the 48's or the 120 would fit the bill.
