Hoping someone familiar with this clock can give me some guidance on putting a movement like this in beat. I am one of the clockwinders of this 1894 Seth Thomas clock.

There's a thumbscrew on each side of the crutch that will move the crutch one way or the other to set the beat. See the blue arrow. That should do it.

I've adjusted the beat on many clocks, but never one like this. I'm just one of the clock winders, and the person who usually does the maintenance is unavailable at the moment. Would adjusting the beat on this clock be the same as any other, where you would determine beat center and go from there?
