    that looks like an electromechanic mvmt. by Hermle maybe from the 70ies guessing per the 7jewel platform,later they used an 11jewel type. I´d think that the electric motor winds a mainspring for the going train and powers the strike as well.Interesting and well worth saving; could be a candidate of the plated pivots syndome,though.If it cannot be brought to life again You could use a purely mechanic movement of the same maker,I´m pretty sure the overall dimensions will allow to place the mvmt. into the old case.HTH
