I got this one in the last group of the John Wilterding watches. Besides the fake PSB, real PSB and the A&T this one caught my attention.

The watch is a model 2 design but is key wind. I did take the balance cock off and confirmed that the same serial appeared under it. The dial off showed the same serial as well on the pillar plate. Other than taking the train bridge off and confirming there, it is all matching serial. The watch appears in a model 3 run based on the serial.

Any thoughts as to why Seth Thomas produced these? I know that model 4 is a key wind as well but the watch does not show any kind of indication that it is a modified model 4.
