Hello.Does anyone know what method I can use to determind the stenciled numbers on the underside of my Seth Thomas mantle clock? Im sure it will help me date the clock. The number on the bottom of the clock reads:6033 and a half. Glen

On some clocks for a period of timer ST stenciled numbers and a letter that read in reverse represented the date, e.g. 1981 C would be March 1891. This does not seem to be that. Perhaps a picture of the clock and number would help us visualize it better. Someone else might have the answer you seek. I will move this to the Clocks forum for better exposure.
