Curious to know if anyone has any information on this movement (pics attached). It is out of a Seth Thomas wall clock and stamped B 12616.

Thanks,
Jim

No Jim.

The partial movement is made from an "American Clock Co." battery clock movement. As seen in your photo it is not complete.
The parent company of the American Clock Co. was the Automatic Electric Co. of Chicago.

Eckmil,

Thanks for the info. So, it appears this was converted to a weight driven movement. Did any of these movements use jewels on escapement pallet and were all wheels not spoked?

Thanks!

Here's a couple of pics, might be helpful to aid in determining what is missing.
This one has jeweled pallets, never seen one with spoked wheels.
I have seen the weight conversion done on ITR's and the like, never on one of these.
How long does it run on a wind ?

Ray,

Since we were not given a weight when it was dropped, we're guessing an 8 day, by the #2 winding arbor.

By the way, I'm working with Dave at The Last Wind-Up. Dave says to say hi and let you know the tower clock is "coming along".
