American Seth Thomas Electric Coil question

Hello all, I have a question about the interchangeability of 2 [or possibly 3] different coils used in Westclox and Seth Thomas electric clocks in the 1950's.
The question is can you swap/interchange the Westclox/Seth Thomas M2F, M2D, and M3 coils?

In my experience most clock coils are electrically very similar and the characteristics are not that critical except for the voltage rating. If the fitment/form factor works then give them a try.
