Howdy all,
I recently purchased an ST bracket clock with the A206-000 movement, dated about 1957. I cannot get this clock synchronized for the life of me. None of the standard methods seem to work. It is a striker on the hour with a single strike on the half-hour. When I move the minute hand the strike for the hours happens at about 12 minute after and the half-hour single strike occurs at about 40 minutes past. The hour hand can be moved clockwise easily, and the minute moves easy in both directions. I'm beginning to think it's out of synch in the strike train, but I don't know if the symptoms for that match what I'm seeing externally.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and will reduce my blood pressure...just kidding.
Thanks and Merry Christmas
