• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

Howdy all,

I recently purchased an ST bracket clock with the A206-000 movement, dated about 1957. I cannot get this clock synchronized for the life of me. None of the standard methods seem to work. It is a striker on the hour with a single strike on the half-hour. When I move the minute hand the strike for the hours happens at about 12 minute after and the half-hour single strike occurs at about 40 minutes past. The hour hand can be moved clockwise easily, and the minute moves easy in both directions. I'm beginning to think it's out of synch in the strike train, but I don't know if the symptoms for that match what I'm seeing externally.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and will reduce my blood pressure...just kidding.

Thanks and Merry Christmas

it may need servicing... but have you tried flipping the minute hand over? that might change the orientation/alignment....

Remove the minute hand. There should be a bushing/collet in the end. Insert a square object in the hole and hold it while you turn the hand. Hold hand near the bushing so it won’t break or bend. Keep adjusting till it’s right.
