Anyone have one of these, tho older one with the balance -not the platform escapement. If so, what is the beat rate supposed to be for this guy? The one I have is running great - 360 degrees of rotation and clocking 10840 at max fast adjustment. It started at 10250 and was losing about 4 hours per day. I know the beat book says "most" balance wheels are 9000 but?

Since it is beating faster than it should (10840) and still losing a significant amount of time, I think I will look at the "clutch" to see if it is slipping a little. That is the only place I can think of right off that could account for the time loss and fast bph.
