Recently a long time member asked where the Hamilton records are
and how to look up a watch by serial number. Depending
on what the serial number is you can see the actual ledger with date sold
and who it was sold to. I decided it's possible that other members here who own
Hamilton's might not know this resource is here or just don't know how
to find it. This is a feature that only NAWCC members can access.
It's actually another great reason to join the NAWCC if you collect Hamilton's.

Start here
Home | National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors, Inc

open main page

then click Research and company records

Then click Hamilton serial number search.

Then click on the blue numbers in top left

You should now be at the Hamilton ledger

I will eventually move this to the Hamilton sticky thread for
future reference. I don't want to give away anything about the new
forum but it should be much more conducive to navigate there with the
new version of the forum software but all the steps above should remain the same.

Hi Rob,

I followed your instructions above to get to the Hamilton ledgers. The first problem I encountered was when I clicked on Hamilton serial number search, it only brought up the search box, not the ledger list. After entering the serial number and hitting the Search button, the ledger did come up but none of the links work (see attached screenshot). Any suggestions?
Thanks for your time and help!

Hi - when I followed Rob's instructions, and clicked on the blue numbers at the upper left of the screen, the link took me to an image of the actual ledger pages where I could see the handwritten dates, customer name, etc. I was wondering what serial number you entered that led to the screen with all the links? Also, were you logged in to the NAWCC main site when you found the page with all the links? I had never used the serial number lookup, and your question piqued my curiosity. Thanks!
