    Hey Charles,
I'm going to take a guess and date this watch around the late 40's-early 50's. Wittnauer was a company that used Swiss movements cased here in America. Many are really wonderful watches. The 11N movements in my experience, have been solid, easy to work on and robust. Here's a link that can tell you a bit more about the movement itself- hope this helps !

Wittnauer certainly polished up that AS 1201.

At a guess, the watch Charles has, is a reworked Record 106 bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Record 106
