I have a Harrison English verge watch and am seeking a crystal for this watch.
Did they use the bull's eye crystals for these later models or is that only for the early models before 1800's?

    Fred,

Usually they had just a high dome.. In my opinion Bull's Eyes are rather heavy in weight and how they look.. I have a number of these, if you could send a mm dimension of diameter and clearance, ie cannon pinion height needed I maybe able to help you out..Also a picture would help..

I think most experts are of the opinion that the bullseye is a later affectation and that the high dome crystal is correct on the earlier watches. It may have been original on some late 18th century and early 19th century pieces.

    Fred,

Is this what you are looking for.. This one measure a tad under 44mm.. A little 330 grit wet- dry emory with soap and the it can be finished to fit nicely.. You may want to check that height as that does not seem very high.. this crystal will clear most, if not all, verge cannon pinions..

That is great! I'll take it!
What do you want for it?
