You will find more buyers in a large market place who may be willing to pay for shipping. But the reality is that you will pay the shipping cost by taking a hit on the price. I'm thinking you could expect a price close to $1000 in a "pick it up here" situation. Check with the local antique market places. Take a few pictures with you and get some offers. See if any appeal to you. Keep in mind that they will expect to be selling it at close to double what they are willing to pay, so use that as a measuring stick for value.
