I picked up a small novelty clock that still works fine.. but not that great to look at. I built a new case for it because I like the scenic graphic it has on the face and pendulum. The weights are pretty unique also. The new case is solid mahogany with a few coats of shellac. The photo on the left is how it looked before (a web photo).

Your case definitely looks better. Nice details with the rosettes and trim. Thanks for sharing!

Thats a big improvement from the original, well done :)

Must admit I felt a bit offended when reading the title, until I realized I've sort of stolen a manufacturers name, I made the nick myself as a spinoff from my real name, small world.

Nice job. It looks like the scenic graphic on the face has changed?

Yes.. that's why I mentioned that it was a web photo.. I did not have a before picture of my clock.. but the frame looked exactly like the one in the photo I took from the web.

I don't think he was too consistent with the parts used. If you notice.. the graphic on the pendulum does not match the graphic on the face plate. I had to replace the pendulum for a longer one because the clock ran way too fast even with the bob adjusted down as far as possible.
