Hi all, can anyone shed some light on this Schlenker and Kienzle Vienna regulator movement please.
Am I right in thinking given the serial number being only three digits it would be dated 1895/6? Giving the makers logo was first registered in October 1895.

Welcome to the forum.

The trademark on your movement - the first "winged wheel" - was registered in 1890.

The second winged wheel trademark was registered in 1910, so presumably, your movement was made between 1890 and 1910. Trademarks can overlap and can be used concurrently, so your movement could be a bit later than 1910.

Hi!

Please note that brass washers are used on the backboard under the screws. This is an indicator of fairly early production. Kinzle has not used these washers since 1894.
Your movement has the smallest Kinzle serial number for weight movements, produced in the German division in Schwenningen.
I believe it's 1890/1891.
