Sangamo Escapement Jewel

Working on a Sangamo electric clock that uses a Illinois 16s 11 jewel escapement. I'm trying to find a jewel for the pallet bridge. The pallet pin is 0.57mm in diameter and the bridge hole is 2mm in diameter. I've tried to contact Quinton Bradford to see if he had anything that might work but his email isn't working. If anybody has a suggestion or recommendation on another jewel that might work I would appreciate the help. I've attached a couple pictures to further explain.

Was that a friction jewel? I don't see screw holes for a setting, but I'm not sure I'm seeing it right. If it's friction, you can order a new jewel with 2.00mm OD and .60mm hole from any parts house. You'll need a jeweling set to put it in safely and set the end shake.

That .57mm pallet pin seems quite large. I just measured a model 6-9 pocket watch pallet hole jewel and it's about .22mm. Are you sure you caught the actual pivot when measuring?

Thanks Dave, you were right. I remeasured and its .22mm. The jewel is a friction fit jewel. Any idea on where to get one? I've been going thru my parts watches and found several that would fit but the hole was too small.

22-200 and 24-200 are both standard sizes. You'll have to decide for sure whether it's over or under .22 and order accordingly. If in doubt, order both! (This is a snap from the borel catalog. But any parts house will have them.)

This is a snap from the borel catalog.

The description says 'cylindrical hole' but the image is of an olive hole . . .

Oops that looks like a mistake in Borel's catalog. Checking the Seitz part numbers, 30712 is cylindrical and 30711 is olive.
