I am deeply saddened to let you know of the passing of Henry Weiland. Henry was a long time member of the NAWCC and an active member of several local chapters. He was well known for a sharp mind and for his expertise with SWCC. More importantly he was a friend to many and always available with a helping hand. Henry was a frequent visitor to my workshop and he will very much be missed by his friends.
I have posted this here as well as in the members area as he has helped many here that are not yet NAWCC members.

I will update as and when I have more information.

Sad news, indeed. I saw that he was on the Message Board within the last week or so. A bit of a shock to hear this.

Ray, I've enjoyed my conversations here with Henry, and found him to be a gentleman, and very knowledgeable on electrics. Wish I had the opportunity to meet him. I suspect we would have had some very long conversations.

Henry Weiland will be missed by all who have communicated with Henry.

I never had the opportunity to meet Henry personally but have always felt him as a personal friend. His earnest responses, follow-up and genuine interest in whatever the subject revealed his genuine and gracious personality no matter how trivial.

The genius is gone. Good bye Henry :(

Henry also frequently helped those of us on this side of the Atlantic. A sad loss and sympathy to his family and friends.

Same here...I was friends with Henry for more than 20 years. Without Henry I may not be where I am today! Ray, good to have met you again. I was at Henry's recently with you and Stanton....
