Having bought cheap (ebay) S.Haller pu77 as spares or repair - the following may be of use to anyone with a clock
that has the PU77 circuit board.

The "escape" pawl was completely missing - minor fabrication..
But mainly, as expected, the circuit board was shot - coil completely detached.
Not a problem - Obtain pendulum driver (£5.00)for a quartz clock and remove circuit board.
Using step drill bit - enlarge hole in battery case and clock base to (in my case) 18mm (carefully).
Fettle battery case (dremel, saw, hammer and chisel - whatever takes your fancy)
to accept new circuit board - so that the new coil sits level with base board (under pendulum)
Align +ve and -ve with battery box.
From here on its up to you but i did the following -
De-solder and clean the old circuit board - carefully bend the battery contacts on the new board
to form springy contacts.Mount the old circuit board over the new board
- get it right and the new board contacts +old board contacts + battery box contacts will all mate together.
Its working a treat
Hope this might be of use to someone.
