Had debranded pocket watch made by USSR Molnija bought for 20 bucks new at a temporary vendor in late 1980. Kept time rather well after I cleaned it and lubed properly. The fun ended when I dropped it. I've been on hunt for another russian pocket watch with anti-shock but no luck (especially the movement that is 50-60mm diameter not the version of gent watch fitted into pocket watch casing.

I have not seen a debranded Molnija pocket watch on ebay yet. What I mean is "Molnija" on the beige dial face is absent.

Before Molnija stopped the production of pocket watches in 2007 they had a series of watches devoted to the various religious faiths of the world. Here are some pics of a watch with a Jewish theme. What makes it unusual is the fact that it runs counterclockwise and winding is backwards as well. All this keeping in accord with the fact that Hebrew is written right to left. My understanding is that modern watches made in Israel, even if they use Hebrew numbers, are made to run clockwise.

I missed out a Molnija with shock-proof staff jewels on ebay due to high bidding war. This was only one I saw among 100's of Molnija PWs.
Also russian stopwatches some of them did have shock-proof jewels to protect balance staff.

And this is odd that Jewish watch did not feature the shock-proof that late and 15J not usual 18J The escapement end cap looked steel?

For that last one above, I have one just like it, and I'm somewhat less than convinced that it's 100% authentic Russian, even though that's where the seller was based. One little clue is right there on the dial - "Ao####u" - sounds more Japanese than Russian to me, does any one else think so?

Photo below - My tourist souvenir from a market in Sofia. I wonder whether this is what was being referred to earlier as a "debranded" Molnija? It's a standard Molnija 3602 movement, the case is the common wood-grouse / pine cones & leaves design, however it's been named "Diamant" - presumably as in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamant - perhaps they ran out of home-grown space rockets to name their watches after?

Yes, I also doubt the watch in the last picture is Russian. Ao####u, despite its Japanese-sounding name, is a Chinese company, admittedly specialising in marketing electronic goods made by others, but I suspect this is a chinese watch.
