I bought a job-lot of non working watches . In two plastic containers found a disassembled ROAMER ALARM watch. MST Caliber 417. They made the 417 and 427 and some parts are interchangeable. No scrap movements that I could find online. Most of it appears to be there. I am assembling before cleaning to see what missing. After sitting on Google for hours I have two questions. 1. The Alarm pointer fits on to a very large hour hand shaft . The hour wheel looks like the only missing part that I can see, with my limited experience . I cant find any picture of it on any page online. Does anyone have a picture of the hour wheel or of the watch or even better a picture or Diagram with the unlocking wheel holder removed, so I can see what going on? It must be unusual to take the hour hand and the alarm pointer. 2. The pallet fork has a broken pivot, re-pivot is not an option for me here in South Africa. I understand that the pallet staff can be replaced. Is there a source for staffs or better still a complete Pallet Fork?
