What kind of repair? You can buy new main wheels

For a Hubert Herr for example. No longer in production. Anyone can buy a new one. I want to know how to fix it. Does anyone have a video?

Fix what? You haven't told us what is wrong with the wheel you have, so it's hard to know what to suggest in the way a repair.

If you have a bad click. Or the spring wire is broken.

We need pics, powerstroke. There were at least two different types of clicks. If the spring wire is broken, you'd likely have to remove the click, remove the old wire and replace it by staking it in.

No video but I took one of mine apart so that you can see. The first picture shows the wheel supported by the crows foot. Note the brass collar on the arbor, not shown is a hollow punch on to the shoulder of the pivot. I tap the punch a few times to loosen the collar. I finish removing the collar with my pry bars. It looks like the ratchet wheel is riveted on.

The trick on a click is to add a shoulder on your rivot. Then peen as tight as you wants to.

On your click, wire is not supposed to be in that hole. Should be a groove on backside of click. the spring should have flat blade to fit in groove. The two wheel holes are used to tie spring steady to wheel.

I've seen that little click wire wear it's way completely through the brass click.

It's not much trouble to make a new click or click spring.

I took the other chainwheel out as I was curious if the click wire was set up the same and it was. There are no grooves or other likely place for the click wire to locate.

Who sells the tension spring (retainer) washers for these? When removing the retainer to replace the click spring, I broke it in two pieces.

Yes, R.J., I have done that too but this one has no groove cut in the arbor. The retainer has to be made out of hard steel and the tips dig into the smooth arbor and retain the tension spring. Maybe I could cut a groove in the arbor or drill it and insert a pin. You can’t remove these without breaking them.

No groove,... man... Well, if hunting for correct fails, cut a groove. Then I might choose a cupped spring washer and a C clip for the groove.

But I hate going down improvise rabbit hole. Unseen design snags

Drill the arbor (1/16" is good) and use an 'S' wire (16 gauge), along with a washer if necessary. Most older German GF movements used this method. Willie X
