Help Question about a Regula 35.....?

Am working on putting a Cuckoo clock together for a friend's son. I'm using parts from several different clocks that had been given to me over the last couple of years. The movement I'm using is a Regula 35. I was under the impression that the Regula 35 was like the Regula 34. An 8 day movement..... I'm thinking that I'm wrong and it's a 1 day movement. What makes me think this is That the train and strike chain wheels are identical to the ones indicated for a Regula 25 / 1 day movement as seen in the Merricks catalogue,,, Can any one confirm or deny my suspicions??

Regula-35 is a one day movement.

It is a 1 day. Count the # of wheels in the time train. A 1 day will have 3 and an 8 day will have 4.

The 35 is a larger more robust movement. About 1/2' taller and 1/8" wider. What parts will interchange with a 25 (?) now that's a good question. Willie X

Mark, when counting the wheels in the time train, do I count the chain wheel? With the chain wheel and the center wheel, plus 2 more...that's 4.....
Just looking for a little more clarity, 'cause I'm a little thick.....

Are you counting the fly as a wheel?
If so then an eight day will have 5.

Roughbarked...the fly would be on the strike train..We're talking about the time train.I count a TOTALof 4 on the time train. And a TOTAL of 4 on the strike train with the fly.....

In this unit, the center wheel does not count since it doesn’t drive the next wheel. Yes the chain wheel,or gear, counts as the first wheel.
