Question about a Gustav Becker Mantle Clock

I am unsure of the clock date. I received this clock from my late grandmother. I remember her telling me about how my grandfather bought her this clock with money from her savings account 20 some years ago for 500$.

I what I am really looking to do, is to find someone in the MD/WV panhandle area to repair the clock. The clock still keeps the time fine, but it didnt like being transported from IA to MD when I brought it with me. The hour chime is 1 hour ahead and the chime speed dial had gotten loose and the gear that controlled it fell out. I really want to get this repaired but I am unsure of where and who to take it to. I am hoping that someone here can help me.

I recommend Dave Myers, Boonsboro Clock Shop, 104 Main Street (Alt. Rte. 40), Boonsboro Md. Boonsboro is not far from Harpers Ferry, WV, and Hagerstown, MD ( 301-432-6192). He's a both a good friend and a good clock repairman.

JV, if you can post a clear photo of the back of the movement showing the logos and serial number, we can accurately date when your clock was made. At a minimum, if you will tell us the serial number that will be helpful.

I had tried taking pictures of the inside except i cant get any shots that are very clear.
The serial number is 2352246

inside the clock on the left is stamped:
Gustav Becker
his seal
Freiburg In Schl.

on the right:
Medaille D'or

and inbetween the two is P 18

JV, thanks for the photo and information. Your clock was made mid-1919 based on the serial number. This particular movement design was introduced in late 1911 or early 1912 and continued to be used until late 1932 or early 1933 when it was discontinued and a Junghans design movement used.
