    Hi folks.
Sometimes due to wear in the centre arbor or chime stop wheel, the 3 x 4 chime fails... on an Hermle movement the chime lift lever (wishbone shaped lever) can be opened slightly to compensate for this wear. However on s kieninger movement it’s not that straightforward because there is no wishbone chime lift lever to open! On this type of movement the chime lift is triangular but solid!
Can anyone suggest how this type of issue ie failure on the 3 x 4 chime on a kieninger movement be rectified without correcting the wear by rebushing the two worn arbors mentioned above?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions added.

Could you post a photo of the problem area? Much easier to give suggestions if we can see the problem.

Slightly bend the tab on the long arm, or the arm itself. Willie X
