Hello,
I am servicing an ETA 7751. The push-piece is protruding 1-2mm. Is this ok? How to make it flush to the case?

Please look at attached photo.

Hi,

Depends on what the maker of the case intended. If the push piece has a relatively long guide including a seal, then you might make it flush with the case. This would be "normal". But if the push piece is guided just by a hole in the case and if this hole is rather short, then you should leave it as it is, because otherwise the push piece might be lost in the case upon depressing (for adjusting the day).

Cheers, Bernhard

Edit: Just had a look at mine (7761, i.e. the same full calendar movement, but manual wind), there the (sealing) guide of this push piece protrudes about 0,5 to 1 mm over the case.
