Problems posting with Chrome

Some of our members (me included) are reporting problems creating and responding to posts using the Chrome browser. We are looking into it. Please let me know if you are having similar problems with any other browser.

I can easily generate that message by clicking post reply without entering a message.

Exactly. It's like the system is not recognizing the input in the reply field and thinks it is blank. But, it has the correct word count...

Odd that only a few of us are having the problem.

I need to be able to duplicate this to figure it out.

The editor is written in Javascript, so it is possible your Chrome has a Javascript setting wrong wrt permissions.

I just did a "Reset all Settings" in Chrome and the problem went away. I suspect this has something to do with a Chrome update that got pushed yesterday.

Rob told me to delete cache and cookies. After figuring out how to do that today, everything is back to normal.

Very strange. Even more strange is that it didn't effect my Chromebook.

I thought it was going to be stuck that way! Glad it wasn't a crazy fix.
