Ooooh!
I LOVE your barometer.
From the distance I'd never guessed it was a marriage. GREAT job on that. I've long time had a lust for one of the BIG, 14 - 16" dia. dials. I saw one at the NC national a few years ago. I only didn't bring the FIFTY THOUSAND dollars he wanted for it.

Mike! Another beauty added to your "Flock." Would you add some more photo's of the statue please? What type of finish was used on this statue?

It's gorgeous!

Thank goodness it's green like money and not green from envy. You and Mike are the "Swinging-est" guy's around. Any chance of a future Don & Mike Ansonia Swinger museum?

Happy New Year to you all,
Dana

I believe, PETE, you are posting the URL for the website and not your pictures, individually. Your links take us only to the website. I believe you'll need to go to the INDIVIDUAL pictures and post THEIR URLs.

Bartime

Hello everybody,I really enjoyed looking at everyones clock collections so I thought I would post some of mine, at least try too as I have never set up links and things kinda learning as I go,I started collecting back in july or august of 06 I got my great grandmother's Ansonia Drop Extra from my Dad and it would only run for a short while at a time so I took it apart I remembered my Dad had oiled it a very long time ago and it ran until a year or two ago anyway gave it some oil and it has been going since last july,so these are some of them I picked up since then, alot of them need one thing or another, some are works in progress or awaiting parts,I think I am getting close to 50 or 60 now my wife would know exactly as everytime I get a new one she just gives me the (look) i'm sure alot of you know what I am talking about. I built a little workshop in the basement a couple weeks ago and it is filling up fast.Mine are not near as nice as some of the ones I have seen on here but they are fun to play with, hope everybody enjoys them as much as I enjoyed looking at yours. http://s154.photobucket.com/albums/s271/sharpchev/

Well bartime…

It looks like you caught a severe case of “clockitis” in 2006. You also appear to have that mutated strain “clockitis shortdropious”. I too had that same strain when I first caught this dreaded disease.

At first for every shelf clock I added, I had hung 3-4 short drops clocks. I was an Octagon Top Addict. I have since been cured of the “shortdropious” only to have a second mutation infect my system,"banjolitus clocktitus”.

From one “Buckeye” to another… Good luck and may they never truly find a cure.

Hello Bartime,
Do you mean to say you have amassed that collection since July last year  or was it 1906 :) Either way I agree with Clockjim. You seem to have the same complaint that most of us poor afflicted souls have.
I have the strain known as "Cantresistbuyinganytypeofclockitius"

By the way, great collection.

Nice collection, Bartime. And, welcome to the message board. Your wife might be less happy if you had started collecting dogs, instead of clocks.
And, by the way, my clock collecting has cut into my "bartime", which is why my wife approves:eek:

I think i have a little of your affliction also, well i'm off to negotiate more wall space from my wife.

If I cut and paste the address to the internet, I go to Yahoo and get this message:

Uh-oh. Something bad happened...
We are really sorry, but something went wrong while handling your request.

Someone else will need to tell us where to go next:???:?

Yahoo does not offer (to my knowledge) a publicly viewable photo album. Your album can ony be viewed by yourself when you are logged into your personal acocunt. I don't know if they allow remote linking either (ex: posting the images here, using a link to the photos from your Yahoo account).

Yahoo puts each new photo in a private area..but each can be made public...one at a time. After that, anyone with the link can see the clock/clocks.

Clockjim, veritas,
Yeah I got it. But look what a mess Ive made of this thread.

I Thought I had got the hang of doing links etc on here but I still managed to get my knickers in a twist.

And since then I have discovered that the 15min edit time limit has bee removed.
