The face screams Mauthe? Haven't had movement out. West Grerman PM key. No numbers except 28614 etched as shown. Thank for any help. Was running fine and chiming but just ground to a stop. It does need cleaning. Is it a Mauthe?

Welcome to the forum.

You posted the same request here:

Function - MAUTHE? | NAWCC Forums

Posts in multiple threads on the same subject just causes confusion and will not get your question answered sooner. What you may receive is conflicting answers that helps no one when scattered throughout the forums. The people who can answer your questions review the various forums.

Be patient. You are asking a question regarding an unmarked movement and an unmarked dial. It takes time for people to review their files and get back to you.

In addition, we already have a Post Your Mauthe Clocks thread:

For some reason, your pictures in Post #1 generate a "We ran into soem problems" message.

Please repost better pictures (the kind that will enlarge whe they are clicked upon) of (1) the complete back of the movement and (2) a picture of the front of the clock.

Regards.

Identified as a F. Mauthe movement from 1920-1930. This is in a Grandmother longcase bought in England.
