The vast majority of contemporary collector are wrist watch types with specialist in grousp of makers at varying price levels.

I will be posting links to podcasts and videos and capsule reviews.

The first is a Youtube channel I often watch.

It is Watch Art Sci with Bill Sanders. He does several kinds of of videos. The longest is a weekly live stream. This is Youtube with a live audience of people who pay to be there. I do not watch it live and when I do watch I skip over large parts of it. He has a project going in which he has collected a group of buyers to buy a watch made up by a very high quality maker. I looked at it and decided it is not for me and since subscription is closed this is not a direct sales link,. Much of this livestream is replies to people who post comments as the event runs. It is a lot like a zoom webinar, and like out webinars it is recorded. I watch the recorded version and skip over a lot to topics that interest me. It is a weekly event and it may be worth joining if this is your thing.

Another of his frequent videos is descriptions of offering from various makers, usually small independents, and this is how I learned about Damasko and the model I bought. He covers small outfits and special editions of majors with very detailed information on them.

He also does frequent videos on a small group of watches for sale at very reduced prices that he thinks will appreciate. These watches are all for sale at what he considers very good prices, which is what they have in common.

He seems to buy ans selling in the $5K to $20K with a few much less expensive items

I like his videos and like him but we disagree on a lot. I have caught him in a few mistakes and emailed him and he has always responded graciously.

His channel is worth a look just of the nicely animated introduction.

To find go to YOutube and search for Watch Art Sci

One of my favorite site for podcasts is Worn and Wound. Fair disclosure, I know one of the staff anf I like him. I have yet to buy from them but I might. It came to mind because of a superb podcast this week summarizing a lot of what is going on in high end collecting.

This is a link to a podcast and to my knowledge they are not offering anything for sale.

I am not posting a link to the Worn and Wound web site because they do well stuff among a lot of very good content about contemporary watches and those of us who do collect them.

Here is another channel I often follow.
This is on some very original items from Van Cleef and Arpels.

I like that the presenter mentioned a bit of history.

The host made a slight blunder confusing a hummingbird for a butterfly
