• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Wasn't sure what forum to put this in, and it's not a great picture but I like old books, especially with clocks or watches and I'm always finding weird ads and articles and thought some people may be interested in some of them. This is from The Model Engineer June 25th 1942.

I really like this - thanks for sharing. Wish we knew more about the watch itself.

Often found in WW1 military watches, presumably so that repairs could be carried out in the field. A hairspring I don't think I have seen before but a click spring,
balance jewel holes and a balance staff are common content.
