I just purchased my first pocket watch off of ebay. Its a early 1800s fusee model. Its missing the glass and needs to be replaced. I know with my clocks of this age the glass is old "wavy" glass. I was wondering if it was the same with pocket watches. This is a whole new world for me. If it is old glass does anybody have a source?
    Thanks
    -Luke

Neat watch. You need a high dome bullseye crystal. Those are tough to find. Hell, it's tough to find those size and shape crystals WITHOUT the bullseye. One place i've had luck with is daveswatchparts.com. But you are going to pay quite a bit for that crystal. I looked through my stuff and I dont have anything that will fit. Good luck!

Try Jules Borel and Otto Frei supply houses - they have a wide variety of crystal shapes and sizes, tho I am not sure about bullseye. Also check Dashto - their stock is always changing.
Daves Watch Parts is an excellent supplier .

    Try http://www.whitescrystals.com/
I have not bought from them yet but I have heard from one person who was very happy with the crystal they put in his watch.

    Good Luck,
    Glenn
