plymouth hollow

just picked up a plymouth hollow 32 in high mantel clock. it was working fine in the garage and after I moved it to my fireplace mantel it won't stay running ??

Hi, Robert, welcome to the message board. It sounds like your clock is likely out of beat, due to a difference in "level" between the two locations. Not only side to side, but back to front could cause this.

Post some pictures so we can identify it for you. Does it have a wooden works movement?

Thanks. It has brass and it appears to have a dial that was produced somewhere around the 1850's. I'll get some pics
