16s 3FB Getty model, "Burlington Special" (Illinois Watch Co.) grade 185, model 5, L/S, 19j, adj., ser. # 2106100 (1908).
I purchased this attractive 16s Getty model (movement, with dial and hands only) last August. I quite like the looks of these 3FB Getty models. The nice thinning and rounding of the wheel spokes, and their exposure through the train bridge "fingers", gives you a good look at the motion of the train right to the escapement.
Burlington Special appears in the center of the double sunk dial which has decorative black Roman numerals with red numerals at 5 minute intervals. "Burlington Watch Co. Chicago, U.S.A." is stamped in black on the rear of the main plate beneath the balance wheel. A hair line can be seen at on the dial at 26 min. The movement came in good condition, runs extremely well and keeps very good time.
The Dueber Silverine SB&B case, was pulled from on hand spares.
