1801 - 1900 Please, identification mechanism !!

Hello, I would like to know first of all if this mechanism is of German or Austrian origin. I mention that the watch was bought from Germany. If anyone can help me, thank you!

Seeing the keyholes, that was my thought. But the dial and movement layout seems a bit unusual (at least to me).

But certainly a very nice clock and I'd say it is Austrian.

dial is made of glass, after I opened the dial, I found this note in interior.Poate help anything.

Well, it seems to be in French ('épais' means 'thick') but unless it has something to do with the dimensions of the dial, I wonder if it was just a piece of paper used as packing.

But the fact that it seems to be French is also odd.

Others may know more.

It makes me think that the clock was at least in a certain period in France. The paper is very thin, even surprising.

It is similar in a way. I think it's CK (Austria-Hungary) but not Vienna. There are tons of weird things here.

One knob on the escapement arm. It was not done in Vienna then.

The mechanics came in this very heavy box made of solid oak. Beautiful but I don't think it belongs to the mechanism.

I have a lot of watch boxes, the transition period but in German style (I'm a big RUDY fan) not Viennese. But it looks like what you have.

I cleaned the parts with ammonia,
being gold, I only kept it in solution for two minutes
The dial is very strange ... it's made of stone, limestone ... or maybe something else. I don't know what I can clean it with.

the dial can either be made of bone china (porcelaine) or milky glass or alabaster. In any case be carefull with it , the numbers seem to be silk-screened on it and will vanish easily when cleaned too rough. I´d try to brighten up the hairline and the dirt around the winding holes with a mild solution of H2O2 (Hydrogeneperoxid) and leave it alone afterwords. I´ve seen much worse than this one , it´s readable and shows its age ! Better this original one than a new one !
The metal parts cleaned up beautifully , I´d wax them , not laquer.
The case seems later than the movement....

Worth doing in case there are any gaps in the gilding, which will show through quickly if you don’t prevent the air getting to them.

Thank you for the advice.
Now I have three watch boxes (walnut, rosewood and teak). Each with its own problems, but I will restore them all. I think it works in one of them.
