The clock pictures are the orginal posters seller pictures as screen dumps and the movement pictures are from my cell phone.

    Barry,

Assuming the serial number is 925328 (the first digit is tough to read), your clock was made in 1920, based on the most up-to-date data on Lenzkirch serial numbers.

    Regards.

i agree. 1891 seems a bit early for this type.

I agree, too, and I also see the first digit as a '9'.

The 1891 date would fit if it wasnt for the little complication of the "1 million" above it. My 2 cents.

Another clue to a manufacturing date closer to either side of WWI is the "AGUL" trademark, which was registered by Lenzkirch in 1910.

Yes, people often overlook the all important 1 million when looking up Lenzkirch serial numbers.

    Also true.

Dang, that's a nice clock! I'm still waiting for something similar with a round top near San Francisco. I've been looking for a while.

This one jumped out at me locally. Price was right. Only issue besides being dirty are a couple of loose gong rods.

Just finished servicing the movement and it came out looking great. But I discovered a problem that I need help with. One of the chime rods has been broken and poorly soldered as a repair in the past. Any idea where I might find a replacement rod?

Barry, You have an awesome Westminster Lenzkirch grandfather clock! The three weight movement is built to last and will give you great pleasure. I have two of these in cases and another one waiting for me to build a case. It was worth every penny that you paid for it! Steve
