I recently acquired a Paul Perregaux men's watch probably produced in the early 1960's given the size, style and hands. I am aware of his waterproof crown patent that was purchased by Rolex, but is there a family relationship with the Girard Perregaux watch company? There is very little info on Paul Perreguax or his watch company on-line. His output must have been quite small, as I have seen very few of his watches for sale. Thanks, JeffL

I have an NOS PP automatic movement in a plastic movement storage box. Copper colored, with black dial and applied gold markers and hands. Runs perfectly, I keep thinking I'll find a case for it... Like you, I could never find any info on it. Very nice and interesting movement though.

Hi
There is absolutely NO relationship to Girard Perregaux timepieces.
I do remember that Kathleen Pritchard outstanding book Swiss Timepieces has some info on Paul Perregaux, unfortunately I only have volume 1 (up to L), but NAWCC lkibrary has 4 copies - contact them

Regards
Adam
