    Hello,
I would appreciate your answers and opinion about the following questions:

Why the crown of this pro is located at 3?
This can be influence its price comparing it with those with the crown at 9?
    It is a fake watch?
This kind of proplof came from the fabric in this way? IMG-20191115-WA0006.jpg IMG-20191115-WA0003.jpg IMG-20191116-WA0009.jpg

I want to buy this watch but the questions above makes me conffused

Thank you very much for your kind attention

Hi jjea, difficult to tell if this watch is a fake without having it in hand, but I can tell you that the early proplof dial had symmetrical dial feet, which meant dials could be located either way, by watch repairers not familiar with the correct configuration.

But in that case, the date would not be centered in the window.

I did wonder about that too Chris. Perhaps the date wheel is printed in such a way that it is centred at 3 and nine. The bezel release button should also be at the top.

That would only be possible if it had an even number of days on it. But they all have 31, which is prime, leading to all sorts of troubles if you ever try to mix and match date wheels and dials.

The chance of that watch being fake is about 1%
    My feeling its genuine
And FAKES dont make with crown in wrong place.

    I say GENUINE

Several have been seen, but never came out of Omega factory like this.
Easy to sort the date wheel, just use a regular one.

Thought I saw another like this on the omega forum you mite post this over there but put it in the vintage section. Wonder if some one in the past did not like the odd position of the crown and just flipped the movement around in the case so the stem to be on the normal side like other watches even though it was not designed that way but as I look at it now due to the date window on the dial that would not work it would need a different dial . Maybe a special order when bought you can also contact omega archives and get a archive letter that will tell a little history of the watch like were sold date made and type of watch and movement type and that will tell you if legit it cost money they charge for the help did that once on a Omega SHOM vintage diver I had once to find out info on it since a lot of those were put together with original new omega parts and the right type vintage movement from another model watch if anyone remember watchco were on eBay was lucky was a legit one in my case made by omega and not a put together .
