Derek Smith. I see this is an old post, but I am new to this forum. Did you find the silencing lever for your Hermle clock? I have one if you’re still interested.

    Hi Derek,
The chime silence lever for Hermle is on the front of the movement and stops the operation of the chime train. The hammer lever shown is only for transporting the clock.

You might have better luck in the clock repair forum.

    Eric

Hello, I am looking for the escape wheel and arbor in good condition to a Waterbury T&S strike clock. It is a common movement, with the escapement outside of the plates. The plate says "13in", the escape wheel has 37 teeth, with a 32.8 diameter escape wheel. The lantern pinion (located close to the back plate) has 8 leaves, and the arbor is approximately 47.4mm pivot end to pivot end. Thanks for any help!

Check with LaBounty, MillTime. He has a huge inventory of used parts, and could even make the wheel for you if needed.

Greetings to all!! I am in need of parts or a replacement mantel clock round Seth Thomas 48L movement. I need a escapement and arbor as well as case screws and retainer arms and hardware. Or if someone has a "For Parts" unit, I could consider that as well.
    Thank you for your assistance!!

Welcome to the board, Vince! You might try your inquiry in the clock repair forum. I'm sure it can be restored, if not by you then by a professional. It's very hard to find movements like you are seeking.

    Hi
Looking for a square convex clock glass that fits bezel for Junghans clock. Measures 5.75 inches inside track to track so a glass 5 5/8 to 5 11/16 would fit. Rise is 1/2 inch from face. Bezel has two channels but would use outside channel to install. Thanks !!

Hello, I am in need of a new escapement gear for this clock. It is 43mm in diameter with 50 teeth. Unfortunately there is no manufacturer information anywhere on the movement. Any help is appreciated.

I have a complete movement with dial, pendulum and gong. It is a 48S-it would probably work. I will post photos if you are interested-I'm home now and the clock is at work so tomorrow evening at the earliest.

My husband wants to repair a Square Oak Slave School Clock 1887. He believes the spring is wind to tight. And there is a light on the front, bulb looks like the one that went in a flashlight. Where would I be able to get information on this clock?
    Thanks

If it's a slave clock, it would not be wound but would work electronically, governed by a separate master clock. You can buy impulsers to make it functional though. Lets see a pic of the clock please.

I have recently acquired a nice Hamilton-Elgin 37500 elapsed time clock. I am planning to do a service for it, but I see a couple initial parts I would like to buy. I noticed that the clock had two hands replaced at some point in its life - the hand for the hour portion of the chronometer (top dial) and the hand for the civil date function. Does anyone have the correct hands available for purchase? I appreciate all the help.

    Regards,

    Solomon

There is a tag that says "manufactured by International Business machines" inside the case, not sure if that is the movement too, or just the case.

No, it is all brass. The gear I need is brass, the teeth are worn too thin and bent so it no longer can keep running.

I am really most sincerely in need of a Seth Thomas electric motor like this one, except for two wires instead of one.
